Chet Buss

Chet Buss grew up in Allison, Iowa, with his two younger brothers, learning the value of hard work on farms. He went to college to wrestle but soon realized his path was going to look a little different. With a blue-collar background and a love for working with his hands, construction became the perfect fit.

At Freed, Chet is the ultimate utility guy. If you see him rolling around in his signature Freed truck, he could be heading to roof a house, install windows or siding, or dive into a carpentry project—whatever the job calls for. He’s easygoing and adaptable, always ready to jump in wherever he’s needed.

What Chet loves most about Freed is the atmosphere—where you can take the work seriously but still have fun. The team works hard, but they also know how to enjoy the process, and that’s something he really values. We’re lucky to have Chet on our crew, bringing his versatility, strong work ethic, and great attitude to every project.
