Cary is a Waterloo native, a Columbus grad, and a proud Marine Corps veteran who served during Operation Desert Storm. With more than 30 years of roofing experience—spanning repairs, sheet metal work, estimating, and leadership—he brings a steady, solutions-first approach and a deep well of industry and claims knowledge.

As Freed’s Commercial Division continues to grow, Cary helps bring the goods—supporting projects through sales and estimating and helping clients navigate scopes, pricing, and insurance claims with clarity and confidence. He’s built to serve, and we count it a real blessing to have him on our team.

Cary lives in Cedar Falls with his wife, Nichole, and is a proud parent of two UNI Panthers, Cassidy and Cole.
