Aaron—better known around here as Curly—serves as our Director of Flow, a title that perfectly captures what he brings to the table. At the heart of his role is one mission: making sure jobs run smoothly from start to finish. Whether he’s keeping workflow tight behind the scenes or out on-site ensuring things are firing on all cylinders, Curly is the guy keeping everything moving in rhythm.

He’s a culture guy through and through—someone people genuinely enjoy being around. He brings a laid-back, relational energy to every part of the job, which makes him a natural at keeping crews connected and momentum strong. It’s probably no surprise he’s also a creative. A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in art, Curly actually played a key role in developing the Freed shield logo that’s become a recognizable mark all across the Cedar Valley.

Curly sees Freed as a place where excellence and teamwork go hand in hand. “Everyone’s willing to drop what they’re doing to help each other out,” he says. “We all want the best for every single customer.” He’s proud to be part of a growing company that pays attention to the details, builds with purpose, and leads with heart.

When he’s not keeping jobs flowing, Curly’s all about family. He and his wife are raising five awesome kids, and you’ll usually find him on a ball diamond, field, course, gym, school, or pool—cheering them on and soaking up the chaos in the best way.
