SPRING! 26 Years of Serving the Cedar Valley

This year marks 26 years of Freed serving the Cedar Valley, and we’re stepping into this new season with a lot of gratitude and a lot of excitement for what’s ahead.

When Max Klein purchased Freed from Brian Freed, he made a decision that said a lot about who he is — he wanted to keep the Freed name. Brian was surprised. Most people would have assumed Max would want to rebrand the company and put his own name on it. But Max saw the value in what had already been built and wanted to honor that legacy.

That has been true from the beginning.

Max has always seen himself as a builder — someone focused on growing, improving, and becoming the best version of himself he can be. When he bought the company, the vision was simple: roofing it would be. And over time, that vision has steadily grown.

While roofing is still the foundation of what we do, Freed has become much more than a roofing company. As we enter year 26, we’re continuing to grow as a full exterior contractor, serving both commercial and residential clients with roofing, siding, windows, and gutters.

That growth is only possible because of an incredible team. We have a hardworking group of guys with diverse construction backgrounds, and their skill, character, and commitment continue to push Freed forward.

We’re also excited about what’s new this season. We’ve recently rolled out our Freed Service Plan, giving homeowners and property owners ongoing support long after the project is complete. We’re also in the final stages of offering financing, which will make it easier for customers to move forward with needed exterior projects without unnecessary delay.

There’s always some uncertainty that comes with growth, but we’re excited and moving into spring with confidence.
